40 hours per week Monday - Friday (0800 - 1630) £42,000 - £47,000 per annum Sodexo rewards and benefits Job Introduction We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to take full operational responsibility for Soft Facilities Management across HMRC Cardiff site You will oversee service delivery within a Total FM contract, ensuring all services are delivered safely, compliantly, and cost-effectively. While your primary focus will be Soft FM, you will maintain a strong working knowledge of Technical Services to support the Hard FM team effectively. What you’ll do: Manage day-to-day Soft FM operations across the Cardiff cluster Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies, SOPs, and statutory requirements Oversee budgets, costs, and financial controls Maintain consistent service delivery standards across all sites Lead audits and ensure the site remains inspection-ready Support and collaborate with operational teams and stakeholders Ensure services are fully resourced and meet contractual KPIs Coach, mentor, and develop team members Build strong client relationships and represent the business professionally Identify opportunities for service improvement and innovation Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance records Manage incidents and ensure appropriate corrective actions What you bring: Essential Proven experience in Facilities Management (ideally across both Soft and Hard FM services) Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams Experience managing teams in a multi-site environment Financial awareness with experience managing budgets Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels Desirable NEBOSH qualification Authorising Person (relevant discipline) Risk Assessment certification ISO Internal Auditor qualification Strong Hard FM experience What we offer: Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
