Data Analyst Location: York Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 plus benefits Working pattern: Monday to Friday, on-site or hybrid options available If you enjoy turning data into insight and want to see the real-world impact of your work on production, performance and efficiency, this role offers the chance to do exactly that. You will work closely with production, engineering and supply chain teams, helping them understand performance and identify opportunities to improve. As part of a business operating in a fast-paced, output-driven environment, your analysis will directly support operational flow, quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives, reflecting the increasing importance of data capability within modern manufacturing. What you will be doing Analyse production, quality and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities Build and maintain dashboards and reports for key stakeholders across the business Support decision making through clear, actionable insight Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to understand processes and performance drivers Assist with forecasting, planning and performance tracking Improve data accuracy, consistency and reporting processes Support continuous improvement and efficiency projects What we are looking for Experience working in a data analyst or similar analytical role Strong skills in Excel and at least one data visualisation tool such as Power BI or Tableau Experience working with large data sets and producing meaningful insight Understanding of manufacturing, engineering or operational environments is beneficial Ability to communicate data clearly to non-technical stakeholders Experience with SQL or ERP systems would be advantageous We are keen to speak with candidates who have worked in roles such as Data Analyst, Business Analyst, MI Analyst or Operations Analyst, particularly within manufacturing, engineering or supply chain environments.
