We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team in a KS1 setting in Harrogate. As a vital member of our educational community, you will play a key role in providing essential support to both teachers and pupils.
Requirements:
1. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
2. Relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience.
3. Previous experience working with children in a school setting, particularly in KS1.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
6. Passion for education and a commitment to supporting the needs of every child.
7. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving demands of the role.
Responsibilities:
8. Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons under the guidance of the class teacher.
9. Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance with their learning.
10. Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel supported and encouraged to succeed.
11. Contribute to the assessment and tracking of pupil progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers.
12. Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and materials.
13. Supervise students during class activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
14. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to promote the holistic development of each child.
