Job Description
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our team in the North of Scotland to support our Daviot, Netherglen & Tom's Forest Quarries.
The successful candidate will ensure all electrical maintenance, operation, and plant efficiency are optimized. The role focuses on energy reduction and sustainability to maintain the safe, maximum level of availability and reliability at the lowest maintenance costs, covering all electrical equipment, installations, and buildings on the plant.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain excellence in Electrical Maintenance Standards
* Ensure site work complies with statutory legislation and company policies
* Control electrical maintenance costs within the budget
* Develop and implement projects to improve plant efficiency and reduce energy consumption
* Set technical standards for work
* Coordinate with Electrical Statutory Inspection Engineers
* Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations and promote compliance
* Communicate potential hazards proactively to management and safety departments
* Perform ad-hoc duties and projects as required
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
* Experience as a Maintenance Electrician, preferably with an industrial background
* Ability to work independently with analysis, judgment, and initiative
* Commitment to safety
* Good organizational and communication skills
* Relevant skills and qualifications for the role, with flexibility for emergency repairs
