The Role
A dynamic Head of Marketing is sought to lead the strategic marketing direction and campaign delivery for two flagship B2B exhibitions and their growing digital platform. Reporting to the Divisional Director and managing a talented team of three, this role blends creativity, analytics, and leadership to shape the brand narrative, drive attendance, and strengthen community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across digital, social, PR, partnerships, and live event channels
2. Lead audience acquisition and engagement campaigns to grow event attendance and online community reach
3. Monitor data and campaign metrics to optimise performance and ROI
4. Manage marketing budgets and ensure maximum efficiency across activities
5. Oversee brand positioning, creative execution, and messaging consistency across all touchpoints
6. Drive innovation through new tools, platforms, and AI-powered initiatives to enhance content and engagement
7. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of marketers, encouraging professional development and excellence
8. Partner with content, sales, and operations teams to align campaigns with commercial objectives
9. Build and manage partnerships and media collaborations to expand reach and influence
Skills & Experience
10. 8+ years' experience in B2B event marketing or exhibitions, ideally leading large-scale campaigns
11. Proven track record in strategic planning, digital campaign execution, and audience growth
12. Strong commercial mindset with the ability to connect marketing to revenue
13. Confident managing teams, budgets, and multiple high-profile projects
14. Skilled in CRM, email automation, analytics, and social media optimisation
15. Excellent copywriting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
16. Creative thinker with a data-driven approach and resilience under pressure
