Commercial law firm in York is looking to recruit two Commercial Property lawyers (one of 0 to 2 and the other of 3 or more years’ PQE). The team has an impressive portfolio of clients and the work they undertake includes: • renewable energy projects • large developments • higher value or complex commercial property matters. These roles offer the successful candidates the opportunity to undertake a diverse and interesting caseload of both commercial property and agricultural property matters. You will be part of a large real estate team which is well-regarded for the work it does in general commercial property law, as well as having specialist expertise in agricultural property law and renewable energy matters. Your main duties will include: • dealing with commercial freehold sales and purchases, finance and remortgage work and ancillary commercial property matters such as easements or telecommunication leases • dealing with the acquisition and sale of farms and farmland and ancillary property-based work for agricultural clients. • commercial and agricultural landlord and tenant work. • building client and industry relationships and assisting with business development. The successful candidates will: • have effective communication skills, both oral and written; • demonstrate a commitment to business development and client relationship management; • have the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
