What you’ll do:

1. Prepare and review quarterly and annual fund financial statements, footnotes, supplemental financial reporting, including Annex IV filings under AIFMD and CSSF standards
2. Ensure accurate and timely processing of fund transactions, including subscriptions, redemptions, and data inputs used for regulatory and investor reporting
3. Coordinate the collection, validation, and reconciliation of data required for Annex IV reporting
4. Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and assist with internal and external audits to ensure adherence to industry standards
5. Manage relationships with investors by addressing inquiries and providing updates on fund performance, operations, and regulatory reporting, as applicable.
6. Oversee fund accounting operations, including tracking assets and liabilities, calculating net asset values (NAVs), and preparing financial statements

To qualify for the role, you must have:

7. Strong academic background (i.e. degree level or recognized professional certification)

Skills and attributes for success:

8. 3-5 years relevant financial services experience and/or knowledge of the UK regulatory regime, such as Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive, the Alternative Investment Funds Managers Directive, other applicable FCA rules and guidance.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

9. Demonstrated professional integrity
10. Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new ACA initiatives and changing client needs
11. Ability to exercise discretion and make independent judgments on matters of significance
12. Ability to work in a fast-paced, small team environment
13. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
14. Highly motivated and goal oriented; pro-active in one’s own education and career progression; volunteers for and shows initiative on both internal and external projects and tasks.
15. Dedicated to upholding ACA’s high-quality standards and customer service focus
16. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
17. Strong oral and written communication skills
18. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and comfortable working in a tech enabled environment.
