The role of Accounts Administrator is an entry-level role that would suit either a candidate with up to one year of accounting experience or someone looking to take their first step into finance. This is a development-focused position where responsibilities will grow as you become more confident and experienced. Initially, your tasks will include: Processing purchase invoices and assisting with supplier queries Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable activities Completing bank reconciliations and statement reconciliations Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of financial records Providing general finance administration support to the wider team Helping with ad-hoc duties as required As you learn and progress, you will gradually take on: More complex reconciliations Month-end support tasks Exposure to journals, reporting, and broader finance processes Opportunities to develop in line with your studies and interests This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about building a career in finance. You might be studying AAT, or a recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Alternatively, you could have up to a year’s experience in a finance environment Our client is looking for someone who is positive, eager to learn, and keen to get involved. You will be flexible and adaptable within a fast-moving environment. It is also important that you are highly organised with good attention to detail. You will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team and be interested in developing your financial skills as the business continues to grow.
