Salary: £86 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking to appoint a Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with additional needs across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Sheffield.
Job Responsibilities of the Secondary SEN TA:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
* Work closely with teaching staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and differentiated learning strategies.
* Support students both in and out of the classroom to ensure engagement and progress.
* Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to review meetings when required.
Job Requirements of the Secondary SEN TA:
* Previous experience supporting students with SEN, ideally within a secondary school environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patient, resilient, and able to remain calm under pressure.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
* Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
