MPA Recruitment is partnering with a well-established company in Ballygawley to recruit an Accounting Technician. Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly management accounts, including ledger review, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis Processing weekly and monthly payroll using Sage 50 Payroll, including annual P60 and P11D reporting Managing daily bank activities such as reconciliations, payment processing, and cash flow forecasting Handling accounts payable, ensuring invoices are approved, processed accurately, and VAT is correctly applied Managing accounts receivable, including sales invoicing and credit control Completing HMRC filings, including VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, and Intrastat reporting Producing statistical reports for the Department of Finance and other stakeholders Preparing financial reports for management review Liaising with external auditors during the annual financial audit Supporting with ad hoc finance duties as required Candidate Requirements AAT/ATI qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) Experience with Sage 50 Payroll or similar payroll systems Experience using Sage 200 or Sage 50 accounting software Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability Salary & Benefits £28,000 £32,000 (negotiable depending on experience) Private healthcare after 6 months service Onsite parking Working hours: MondayThursday: 8:30am 5:30pm Friday: 8:30am 3:00pm Benefits: Medical Aid / Health Care
