A prestigious boutique hotel in Lymington is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join its dynamic kitchen brigade. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced chef who is passionate about delivering exceptional cuisine while maintaining the highest culinary standards.

Your Role as Sous Chef:
* Lead kitchen operations alongside the Head Chef, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation
* Oversee stock control, ordering, and cost management within budget guidelines
* Maintain up-to-date menu knowledge, contributing ideas for seasonal offerings
* Ensure portion consistency, food safety, and adherence to health regulations
* Inspire and mentor junior chefs, fostering a positive and efficient kitchen environment
What We're Looking For:
? Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-quality kitchen ? Recognised culinary qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds) ? Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (Basic Food Hygiene Certificate required) ? Exceptional leadership and communication skills ? Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
