They provide bespoke solutions in pipework fabrication, installation and commissioning, structural steel fabrication, skid unit assembly, open tank fabrication, pressure vessel manufacture and engineering design predominantly to the Oil & Gas and refrigeration industries The Role As the workshop manager, you'll play a key part in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the delivery of a range of contracts nationwide. The successful candidate will have a background within pipework & welding, be well versed in quality systems and traceability and be able to recognise and work to PESR / PED requirements. Experience of leading and managing a small in-house team would is essential. You will provide leadership and accountability driving high standards and continuous improvement by planning scheduling leading by example and managing the day-to-day activities in line with agreed timescales within the specific contracts. Key Responsibilities: The role holder will be able to demonstrate that they can understand the drawings that have been issued, the codes of construction, and how to construct and test, you will be versed in industry norms and can drive outputs to meet those norms and deliver efficient high quality outputs.
