Skills Required • Attention to detail – Ensuring all requirements of a project and known and implemented. • Strong numerical and financial management skills. • Knowledge of construction contracts (e.g. JCT, NEC) and ability to interpret contract terms. • Ability to prepare detailed cost reports, forecasts, and cash flows. • Negotiation and influencing skills. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Problem solving – adjust and propose alternative plans, in consultation with the Divisional Manager, to changing site / work / budget conditions • Communication and teamwork - communicate well with clients, architects, site staff, other employees and sub-contractors, and work positively as part of teams.
