As an HGV Driver, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and efficient transportation of goods.
* Dayshifts starting circa 9.30 AM.
* 42 hours guaranteed, with overtime paid at time and a half.
Job Opportunity
As an HGV Class 2 Driver at Whistl, you will:
* Operate and maintain your HGV vehicles safely and efficiently.
* Ensure the timely and secure delivery of goods to designated locations.
* Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
* Provide exceptional customer service.
* Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
* Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
Essential Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess:
* A valid HGV licence.
* CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
* Digital tachograph card.
* Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents and no more than 3 points on your licence.
* Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
* Ability to handle physical demands, including heavy lifting and long hours on the road.
* Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
* Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
