Position
A vacancy has arisen for an experienced sonographer to join our team working in the ultrasound department, based at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. Diagnostic ultrasound is delivered on several sites across Tayside and the post holder will be expected to regularly travel and work at other sites in Angus, Dundee and Perth as per rota.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will deliver diagnostic ultrasound across multiple sites, work as part of the clinical radiology team, and may be required to cover shift work, weekends and extended weekday shifts.
Key Qualifications
* Appropriate diagnostic radiography qualification and HCPC registration (or healthcare professional equivalents).
* CASE accredited postgraduate ultrasound qualification.
* Specialist experience in paediatrics, musculoskeletal and obstetrics is highly desirable.
Hours and Working Conditions
37 hours per week. Shift working may be required, including weekend and extended weekday shifts.
Assessment
Selected candidates will be required to attend a skills assessment as part of the interview process.
