The overall purpose of this role is to ensure the delivery of high-quality undergraduate Community Engagement teaching within the School of Medicine at the University of Dundee. This post will focus on developing and delivering teaching and practice placements related to Community Engagement across the 5 years of the undergraduate programme. The post holder will be expected to champion a high quality and innovative teaching practice. This role is a vital link between the University of Dundee, School of Medicine and NHS Tayside, working with and supporting existing staff involved in delivering undergraduate teaching. The post will sit within the Undergraduate Healthcare Improvement Team. Applicants should have significant experience working in health, social care and/or the third sector, understanding of community engagement and teaching experience related to community engagement /social determinants of health. This post is 2 sessions per week (8 hours).
