Pharmacy Technician
Location: Oaks Hospital, Colchester
Hours: Part-time - 22.5 hours per week

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. You will work closely with clinical departments, support medicines management, dispense prescriptions (including oncology, with training provided), and contribute to continuous improvement through audits and staff training.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procure medicines and manage stock efficiently and cost-effectively
2. Dispense prescriptions, including for oncology patients (full training provided)
3. Support safe medicines management across clinical departments
4. Conduct audits to ensure policy compliance
5. Provide medicines management training to clinical staff
What We're Looking For:
1. Registered Pharmacy Technician (GPhC)
2. Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting (desirable)
3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
4. Effective communicator with a collaborative approach
5. Eagerness to develop within a supportive environment
