Duties
* Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and high-quality customer experiences.
* Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving procedures to maintain consistency and excellence.
* Manage inventory levels, including food production and supplies, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership practices.
* Collaborate with the head chef to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Ensure adherence to food safety standards and regulations throughout all kitchen operations.
* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing payroll processes as required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential; supervisory experience is highly desirable.
* Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
* Excellent leadership abilities with a proven track record in team management.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
* Experience in barista duties or hotel management is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
