Are you an experienced HR professional ready to take your next step in a dynamic, fast-paced environment?
My client, a well-established, successful, and profitable business in their niche within the construction industry, is seeking an HR Business Partner to be based at their North West office. The role involves supporting their people strategy and partnering with leaders to drive business success.
As a key member of the HR team, you'll work closely with business leaders to build people capability, support talent planning, and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll provide expert guidance and coaching to line managers, support employee relations, and promote HR best practices throughout the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Providing strategic and operational HR advice to managers and senior stakeholders.
* Delivering tailored HR solutions to support business needs.
* Managing a range of employee relations casework.
* Supporting and coaching line managers on absence management, policy updates, and employment legislation.
* Driving compliance and efficiency through audits and workforce planning.
* Collaborating with the wider HR team to implement group-wide initiatives.

What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Manager role in the UK
* Proven ability to manage a broad range of HR/ER issues and casework
* Effective coaching and influencing skills
* Ability to build relationships quickly with business leaders and line managers
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and HRIS (e.g., Bamboo)
* Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
Preferred:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR within construction, civil engineering, or plant hire sectors
* Degree-level education

Additional Info
