An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated IRRV qualified person with proven communication skills. Your knowledge and commitment will help shape the future development and success of our service and allow you to make an impact as a Revenues and Benefits Client Officer.
Working with the Council's partner, you will ensure contractual and statutory obligations are met through quality assurance checks on housing benefit, council tax support, and council tax work, maintaining quality and accuracy of data. You will need to understand and interpret complex data, identify improved methods of performance, and establish best practice processes.

The role involves close collaboration with other Hertfordshire local authorities, Council services such as Housing, partners like the Department for Work and Pensions, and our Shared Anti-Fraud Service. The ability to communicate effectively with the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is crucial.
We offer a unique working environment in Welwyn Garden City, flexible working arrangements, access to electric pool cars, and benefits including a pension scheme and generous annual leave.
If you are interested in working for an ambitious authority, collaborating with dedicated officers, and delivering excellent service, we want to hear from you.
