Job Description:
HR Operations and Data Specialist – Financial Services – London (4 days office-based)
I’m currently partnering with a well-known Financial Services brand to recruit an experienced HR Operations and Data Specialist. Reporting to the Head of HR, this newly created role supports both day-to-day HR operations and data reporting during a period of exciting business growth and transformation.
A solid HR background is essential.
Experience with Workday and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation) are required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support core HR operations across the full employee lifecycle, onboarding, and HR administration
* Maintain and manage employee data across HR systems (Workday), ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Deliver regular and ad-hoc HR reports and dashboards to support decision-making
* Oversee regulatory training data, ensuring completion is tracked and reporting is audit-ready
* Collaborate with Learning & Development, Compliance, and Risk to meet training and regulatory deadlines
* Support annual HR processes such as performance reviews, salary benchmarking, and headcount planning
* Assist with HR systems improvements and transformation projects
* Maintain SOPs and support operational efficiency across HR
* Partner with internal stakeholders including Finance, Legal, and IT on data and reporting requirements
What You’ll Bring:
* HR operations or data experience, ideally within a regulated or corporate environment
* Proficiency in Excel and experience with Workday or similar HRIS
* High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive, compliance-related data
* Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
