Automotive MIG Welder
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our automotive refurbishment and structural modification team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and repairing metal components used in vehicle structures and refurbishment projects. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong welding ability, and the capability to work accurately from engineering drawings and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out MIG welding on mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel components
* Fabricate, modify, and repair vehicle structural sections, including frames, panels, brackets, and supports
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and job specifications
* Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, aligning, and fitting components prior to welding
* Ensure all welds meet quality, safety, and structural requirements
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
