Are you a detail-driven professional with a knack for turning opportunities into successful bids? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading business in the built environment sector as their Bid Manager, playing a pivotal role in securing new projects and driving growth.
As Bid Manager, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end tendering process- from daily tender searches to preparing high-quality submissions. You’ll work closely with Directors, consultants, and clients, ensuring every opportunity is maximised and submissions are delivered to the highest standard.
While bid experience is great, this role could also be perfect for someone with strong writing skills from a background in teaching, communications or marketing- who’s keen to gain the experience and build a
career in bid management.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Conducting daily tender searches across platforms and circulating new opportunities to Directors
Managing tender programmes and maintaining an accurate Tender Index (fees, outcomes, submissions)
Preparing and coordinating tender submissions, ensuring all consultant information is complete and accurate
Writing and reviewing PQQ & ITT quality questionnaire responses
Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to gather and share bid-related information
Submitting tenders via eTendersNI, eSourcingNI, or hard copy where required
Supporting Directors with reports, certifications, and annual tender analysis
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident in managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders at once
Experienced in writing and coordinating content
A clear communicator who enjoys both teamwork and taking ownership
Familiar with tender portals such as eTendersNI or CIS Ireland (desirable but not essential)
