What you’ll be doing
As a Materials Engineer Summer Placement you will act as the quality expert for construction materials. You’ll work directly with materials such as earthworks, concrete and aggregates – testing, analysing and ensuring they meet the highest standards. The role requires working in a mixture of lab, office and on‑site environments, gaining skills in testing techniques, safety protocols and quality control.
Who we’re looking for
Our Summer Placements are targeted at university students who are ideally studying Geology, Geography or Earth Science related degrees. The programme runs during the summer break and offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands‑on experience and build professional skills early in your academic journey.
