Offer description

As our Resource Planning Manager, you will be joining the business at a really exciting time, as we commence the implementation of our major companywide transformation programme. The overall plan is in place, allowing you to focus on delivering day-to-day forecasting, scheduling, and real-time planning for the capacity/resource plan over the next 12 months. We see this as an excellent opportunity for someone experienced in capacity planning for complex projects or large businesses with multiple 'moving' parts.


Typical duties include:

1. Developing and maintaining key planning tools, techniques, and procedures.
2. Supporting the team in producing detailed short, medium, and long-term plans focusing on supply and demand.
3. Analyzing supply and demand components using appropriate techniques, providing insightful commentary, and tracking recommendations.
4. Highlighting resource requirements daily, weekly, and monthly, monitoring plan vs. actual, and re-planning with stakeholders.
5. Conducting root cause analysis to improve planning accuracy and implementing improvements.
6. Providing impact assessments and advice on business/readiness changes, capacity enablers/projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Making and driving recommendations for optimal resource use, efficiency enablers, and leakage opportunities.
8. Designing and delivering actionable performance MI.
9. Supporting, coaching, and developing less experienced colleagues to ensure effective planning models and practices.


Qualifications


Essential

* Strong understanding of resource planning methodologies and service level dynamics.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Good knowledge of M365 and PowerPoint.
* Understanding of front and back office performance metrics.
* Ability to translate large amounts of information into detailed plans with insightful commentary.
* Experience in designing reports with high visual impact.
* Commitment to quality, delivery, and continuous improvement.


Desirable

* Experience with Back Office resource planning tools like Verint Operations Manager.
* Team player with coaching skills and ability to promote teamwork during transformation.
