About the Role As our temporary Telehandler Driver, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our housing development during a key period. Your responsibilities will include: Safely and efficiently operating the telehandler to move various construction materials (e.g., bricks, timber, roofing supplies) across the site. Delivering materials promptly and precisely to different trades and work areas as needed, ensuring continuous workflow. Assisting with the safe loading and unloading of incoming deliveries, coordinating with transport teams. Performing daily machine checks to ensure safe operation before use, and reporting any issues immediately. Strictly adhering to all site health and safety regulations and company policies, prioritising a safe working environment. Communicating effectively with site management, banksmen, and other team members to ensure seamless coordination. Requirements We need someone who: Has proven experience as a Telehandler Driver, ideally with a background in new build housing sites. Holds a valid and relevant CPCS card. Possesses excellent operating skills and a strong awareness of their surroundings in a busy construction environment. Is reliable, punctual, and has a proactive approach to their work. Is committed to maintaining high safety standards on site at all times. Is available for an immediate start to cover the specified holiday period. Full clean UK driving licence.
