Job Description:
As part of the Manufacturing Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the manufacture of current and future products across our entire product range and the full programme lifecycle. Working closely with stakeholders across Manufacturing and Engineering you will use your knowledge and experiences to support our manufacturing systems and processes during initial bid, new product introduction, production and repair to ultimately ensure product quality is met within schedule and budget targets.
Core duties:
Be responsible for the calibration and
control
of test and measurement equipment in line with company procedures and relevant standards
Liaise with external calibration suppliers and
manage
equipment sent for external calibration or repair
Contribute to continuous improvement of calibration processes and practices
Support preventative maintenance activities for test equipment as required
Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation
Ensure calibration activities are completed on time to support manufacturing, engineering, and quality requirements
Engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, fostering
strong
partnerships that support team and business goals
Essential Skills:
Proven
ability to engage with stakeholders and maintain excellent business relationships across all organisational levels
Strong
attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach to work
HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline
Ability to work
independently
and as part of a team,
managing
multiple priorities effectively within a
fast paced
environment
The Manufacturing Engineering Team:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our Calibration team. Combining
strong
calibration and manufacturing knowledge with a structured and detail focused approach, the successful
candidate
will play a key role in ensuring calibration activities and test equipment maintenance are completed effectively to support business and operational requirements.
