Menswear Content Creator (Professional Photography and Video)
We are expanding the MKI team and are looking for an in-house content creator (photography & video) to join us at MKI HQ and lead the capture of all brand content across professional photography and videography.
The role of content creator is responsible for executing all in-house MKI shoots and assisting with seasonal campaigns, alongside feature campaigns, studio shoots, and reactive content. The Content Creator will play a key role in delivering high-quality campaign concepts, ready for the content editor to translate into assets for all MKI channels.
The candidate is required to be highly proficient in both professional photography and videography, with a strong understanding of lighting, composition, and visual storytelling. They should also have a strong understanding of how content translates across different marketing channels.
Key responsibilities include:
Production ownership:
* Execute photoshoots and video campaigns in collaboration with the brand marketing lead and content editor, leading on professional photography and videography content ideation for brand campaigns, launches, product development, and immersive experiences.
* Manage lighting, framing, and composition across all in-house shoots.
* Direct models and manage on-set energy to ensure strong visual outputs.
* Manage equipment, studio setup, and technical shoot requirements.
Content capture
Capture a wide range of professional content, including:
* Seasonal campaign shoots
* Feature campaign content
* Founder-led content
* Reactive trend content
* Studio and in-office content
Brand consistency
* Maintain a consistent mki visual identity across all captured content.
* Understand the brand tone and aesthetic direction.
* Translate campaign ideation and creative briefs into visual execution.
* Capture content with post-production formats and platform outputs in mind.
* Work in collaboration with the brand marketing lead and content editor to bring creative visions to reality.
* Collaborate with the content editor prior to shoots to understand editing requirements.
* Capture additional moments and variations needed for pacing, hooks, and content multiplication.
Desired candidate
* The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skill set:
* Strong knowledge of professional photography and videography equipment, including cameras, lighting, and studio kits.
* Professional experience in professional photography and videography, ideally within fashion, beauty, or lifestyle.
* Background in fashion photography and videography.
Considerations
* This role is full-time at our Bingley, west Yorkshire HQ, Monday – Friday.
* We will not be accepting freelancers or hybrid roles.
* This role is not suited to someone with phone-only photography or videography capabilities.
* A full clean driving licence is preferred for ease, but not essential.
