We are looking for an energetic and motivated Team Leader for our Residential House in Nelson. You will lead a team in supporting our people to live as independently as possible while providing a safe environment where they can develop confidence, build friendships, and interact within the community.
There will be a mixture of morning, afternoon, and evening shifts across the week, so flexibility to support your team across various shifts is essential.

The Team Leader assists people with disabilities to live as independently as possible, while leading and motivating their team. Your responsibilities may include:
* Organizing activities at home and in the community that are meaningful and purposeful, including maximizing independence and involving Whānau.
* Household duties such as meal preparation, daily care routines, and personal cares.
* Working collaboratively with a team to implement personal support plans effectively, ensuring positive teamwork and communication.
* Providing a warm, inclusive, and nurturing environment that supports each person's personal goals and encourages feedback and ideas.

* Relevant caregiving experience, including personal cares.
* Leadership experience or a genuine desire to develop leadership skills.
* Ability to adapt leadership approach to individual learning styles.
* A warm, calm, and friendly personality with a passion for supporting positive outcomes.
* A full NZ Driver License and the ability to transport passengers safely in our disability vans.
