We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Fareham, Hampshire for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full or part time with 1 in Saturday mornings. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

The role
13. The role involves a mixture of consultations and surgeries
14. Flexible working and rota patterns available to accommodate a good work / life balance. EG Rota to work around the school run / holidays
15. The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
16. The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

Team culture:
23. The Vet would be joining a team of 3 vets, 5 RVNs and 1 SVN
24. The team work together to support one another and enable each other to achieve goals and continue to develop their clinical skills and knowledge
25. They understand the difficulties that the vet industry can face, and they ensure that each member of staff support each other and strive each day to provide a positive and encouraging work environment
About you
26. They are looking for a Vet who has a good level of small animal experienced and someone who enjoys the variety of both consulting and surgeries. They would be comfortable completing routine neuters, lump removals, and dentals. What is most important to them is the right person that fits in with the team and the culture.
27. The Vet will be a team player, with good interpersonal skills and be able to establish strong working relationships.
28. The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills
29. The Vet will always maintain a high standard of clinical care and always willing to go that extra mile for patients

30. Salary: Up to £75, pro rata, commensurate to experience
31. Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
