GSL Education are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable German Teacher to join a welcoming school in Nottingham. This is a brilliant opportunity for an educator who can engage students in learning German through interactive lessons, cultural context, and practical language use.
Role Responsibilities of German Teacher:
* Organise and conduct high-quality German lessons throughout the Key Stages.
* Teach fundamental language skills including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
* Integrate cultural topics to enrich understanding and enthusiasm for German language and life.
* Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support academic development.
* Work collaboratively with the MFL department to develop resources and share best practice.
What You’ll Bring as German Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching German in an UK school setting.
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make language learning engaging and accessible.
* Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
