The Role:
As a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant, you will support the team in delivering technical assessments and environmental strategies for planning and development projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
·Assisting in the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and Drainage Strategies
·Undertaking hydrological and hydraulic modelling (e.g. using MicroDrainage, Flood Modeller Pro)
·Supporting surface water and foul drainage designs
·Analysing data and producing high-quality technical reports for clients and planning authorities
·Collaborating with other environmental, transport, and infrastructure teams
About You:
·A degree (BSc or MSc) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Geography, or a related field
·A genuine interest in flood risk, water management, and sustainable design
·Good written and verbal communication skills
·A proactive, analytical mindset and eagerness to learn and develop
