We are seeking a dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Maidenhead, Buckinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced educators and newly qualified teachers who are passionate about inspiring students to explore the fascinating world of Chemistry. The successful candidate will work within a supportive team and have access to excellent resources and facilities, creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Chemistry lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Tailor lessons to meet the individual needs of all students, supporting their academic progress.
* Monitor and report on students' progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance their understanding.
* Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
* Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and school events.
* Contribute to the development of the Chemistry curriculum and extra-curricular activities.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Chemistry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
* Organised, proactive, and adaptable to change.
