Location: BL6, Bolton
Full-time, long-term position
Up to £120 per day
Are you an experienced HLTA looking to make a real difference in a school’s SEND provision? We’re working with a supportive school in the BL6 area who are seeking a dedicated and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team.
About the Role:
You’ll be working within the school’s SEND provision, supporting students with additional needs to access learning and reach their potential. This will involve leading small group interventions, supporting in class, and delivering tailored learning activities under the direction of the SENDCo and class teachers.
Responsibilities:
 * Deliver and support targeted interventions for pupils with special educational needs
 * Lead small group and 1:1 sessions to promote academic and emotional progress
 * Work closely with teachers and the SEND team to adapt resources and learning materials
 * Support pupils with EHCPs and contribute to progress reviews
 * Promote inclusion and a positive learning environment for all pupils
Requirements:
 * HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience)
 * Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school setting
 * Strong communication and organisational skills
 * A positive, patient, and proactive approach
