Overview
In the M365 Trust team, we address regulatory, security, privacy, and governance considerations for Microsoft 365. This role requires navigating the intersection of regulation, legal, process, and technology to understand impact and provide potential resolution pathways to emerging change. The position involves partnering with senior Microsoft teams globally to engage with policy makers and supervisors across the financial services industry and public sector to educate, influence, and understand future direction.

Responsibilities
* Work with Microsoft senior teams (PRA, CELA, Industry, etc.) across public sector/FSI to educate, evangelize and influence future direction.
* Distil regulatory assurance or governance complexity into clear, actionable items using knowledge of Microsoft Cloud offerings.
* Balance regulatory, customer, and Microsoft requirements using contracts and regulations knowledge, while driving Microsoft business.
* Bring insights from inside the cloud to Microsoft personnel and customers who need them, in a role that adapts but remains fundamentally the same.
* Use judgment to determine when conventions must be followed or when they impede progress.
* Collaborate with sales, lawyers, privacy/risk officers, engineers, customers, and executives; adapt to varying situations.
* Contribute to making Microsoft’s cloud better by driving improvement outcomes through program management.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree AND experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
* OR equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
* Proven experience working with Public Sector or Financial services regulator bodies to drive change
* IT industry experience in support or consulting service, project or program management with either a technical or assurance/audit focus; or IT technology adoption in a major enterprise organization (e.g., banking, insurance, tax, healthcare, or other regulated industry) or large IT services group
* Understanding of Microsoft Cloud governance features and related documentation
* Knowledge of technical features and functionalities that support customers’ regulatory or compliance needs
* Experience providing consulting or advisory professional services on technical matters (e.g., IT audit, IT program planning, change management)
* Effective influencing skills across IT, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and Legal
* Excellent language and communication skills
* Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline
