Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking a graduate HR officer to join a growing organisation based in Bridgend
The Graduate HR officer will be a stand-alone role with support from the Group function.
You'll role remit will be:
1. Acting as a trusted first point of contact for HR queries and guidance
2. Recruitment - overseeing process, assisting with job descriptions, applications, interviews, offers
3. New starters on-boarding - overseeing process including all admin, producing contracts, organising probation reviews and induction process
4. Managing Cascade (our online HR application) for all users in terms of administration, holidays, keeping information up to date, dealing with queries etc
5. Maintaining accurate HR systems and reporting while improving digitalisation of HR processing and record keeping within HR application
6. Overseeing all company training:
7. Main contact for our occupational health provider
8. In charge of arranging Mental Health training and events
9. Pension - main contact for company, liaising directly with our pension provider, administering any changes required to pension scheme
10. GDPR - responsible for compliance and arranging any training and staff communication
11. Coordinate bi-annual appraisal process throughout the company
12. Guiding and coaching managers to build confidence and capability in people management
13. KPI reporting of HR metrics to finance on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis
14. Assisting managers for any disciplinary / staff issues and overall support in dealing with issues as they arise in conjunction with Group HR Function
15. Producing reports / presentations / statistics as required for monthly financial and board reports
16. Responsible for on-going review, update and maintenance of all HR Policies and Procedures in conjunction with Group HR Function
17. Ensuring we are compliant with new regulation and employment law in conjunction with Group HR Function
This role is fully on site in Bridgend
On offer:
Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 + pension + benefits + quarterly bonus
Other: Fully supported to achieve CIPD Level 3
