We are looking for a dynamic and creative Music Teacher to inspire students and foster a lifelong love of music. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive school or college community and lead engaging lessons across a range of musical disciplines. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as Music Teacher:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Music to KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable)
* Teach a variety of musical skills, including performance, composition, and theory
* Direct ensembles, choirs, or school productions, and encourage participation in extra-curricular music activities
* Prepare students for examinations, concerts, and other performance opportunities
* Maintain accurate assessment records and contribute to curriculum development
Ideal Music Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge in Music, with the ability to teach both practical and theoretical elements
* Proficiency in at least one instrument and confidence leading group performances
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills as Music Teacher.
* A passion for inspiring young musicians and developing their talents
