What You Will Do:
Design and program PLCs, touchscreens, SCADA systems, and industrial networks (Allen Bradley and Siemens experience essential).
Collaborate closely with mechanical and electrical engineers to deliver complete turnkey automation solutions.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of bespoke control systems at customer sites.
Provide service and fault-finding support for existing systems, ensuring optimal performance.
Manage customer projects from conception to completion, ensuring satisfaction and adherence to timelines.
Mentor and train team members in control systems, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What You Will Bring:
Proven expertise in industrial control systems and manufacturing processes. • Strong programming skills in Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, with a solid understanding of industrial networks like EtherNET and ProfiNET.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Flexibility to travel within the UK and internationally, with a valid passport for unrestricted travel to North America.
A full UK driving licence and the ability to commute to a rural office location.
Current or recent experience as automation engineer, PLC programmer or electrical engineer

Location:
The role is based between Cheltenham and Tewkesbury in a rural setting, requiring your own transport. On-site work at customer locations across the UK, Europe, USA, and Canada is also part of the role.
