This role involves delivering high-quality electrical repairs and installations across social housing properties in the Barnsley area.The roleYou'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical works in both occupied and void properties, ensuring all tasks meet current regulations and safety standards.Key responsibilities include:Electrical repairs, fault finding, and installationsEmergency call-outs and urgent maintenance requestsEnsuring compliance with all electrical and health & safety regulationsWorking collaboratively with tenants, housing officers, and other trade operativesWhat we're looking forLevel 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation18th Edition Wiring Regulations2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)Experience within social housing or domestic maintenance (desirable)Full UK driving licenceWhat's on offerPermanent role within a supportive and skilled teamCompany vehicle and tools providedOngoing training and development opportunitiesPension scheme, holiday allowance, and additional benefitsPre-employment checks:This position is subject to a Basic DBS check at offer stage.
