Morgan McKinley are headhunting on behalf of a top UK Bank who are looking for a Communications Manager to join them and business partner with product teams. This role will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective communication strategies are deployed to support the bank's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities of the Communications Manager:
* Business partner with internal product teams to understand customer journeys and strategic priorities
* Build out customer communications roadmaps
* Manage customer facing communications for any regulatory & legal changes
* Work closely with internal designers & copywriters on communications plans
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop comprehensive communication strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
* Identify opportunities to enhance internal and external communication channels to optimize message delivery and audience engagement.
* Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve communication approaches.
* Maintain brand consistency and integrity across all external communication channels.
* Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing strategic communication counsel and support.
Ideal Background of the Communications Manager:
* Proven experience (3-5 years) in corporate communications, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
* Strong background in mapping and understanding customer journeys
