ROLE PURPOSE
The Paralegal will provide legal and administrative support to David Greenhalgh, a leading Employment Lawyer. The role offers exposure to high-quality and varied paralegal work, acting for senior executives, employees, and employers.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Preparing, formatting and managing legal documents, including correspondence, settlement agreements and employment contracts
* Conducting legal research and assisting with document review and drafting
* Drafting articles and content for external publication and marketing purposes
* Assisting with invoicing, including time recording and billing support
* Managing diary entries, deadlines and key dates across multiple matters
* Handling general administrative queries from clients and internal stakeholders
* Being a ‘first point of contact’ for new enquiries
* Providing ad hoc support as required to ensure the smooth running of the practice
* Organising and maintaining inboxes and client matters, ensuring accuracy and consistency
MUST-HAVE SKILLS
* A strong academic background, with a minimum 2:1 in Law
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload
* Strong legal research and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
* A confident written and verbal communicator, able to engage professionally with clients and colleagues
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
* Experience with Docusign, Adobe Acrobat, AI platforms, and file management systems is preferred
* A high level of administrative accuracy and efficiency
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks in a fast-paced environment
* A proactive, flexible and “can-do” attitude
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
* Preferably, experience in employment law

* This role is office-based in Liverpool Street three days a week (five days a week for the first two weeks) with the opportunity to work flexibly in the future
