You will support Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and Security activities for our coatings manufacturing site at Deeside to ensure that the Quality & HSE objectives are met. This involves implementing company procedures/guidelines and fostering a strong HSE culture across the site.
Responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the QHSE&S Manager with planning, coordinating, and implementing effective Quality & HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.
2. Collaborating with colleagues on health & safety standards and arrangements.
3. Providing guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters.
4. Assisting with specialist health & safety assessments.
5. Conducting workplace inspections and producing reports.
6. Providing formal and informal health & safety training.
7. Supporting accident and incident investigations.
8. Conducting risk and occupational exposure assessments.
9. Following up on regulatory permits related to HSE&S in support of the QHSE&S Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience in a similar Health, Safety, and Environment role.
* Familiarity with Management Systems, Auditing Tools, Crisis Management, Incident Investigation, and related QHSE processes.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment.
