Level 2 Engineering Apprenticeship, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Tyne and Wear
This apprenticeship offers a comprehensive program designed to develop skills and knowledge for a career in engineering. Candidates will work four days onsite at Norbrook and study one day per week at SRC. The program combines practical training with theoretical education, providing a solid foundation in engineering principles.
Main Tasks/Activities:
* Assist engineers in designing, testing, and implementing engineering solutions.
* Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
* Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills.
* Document work activities, including observations, measurements, and test results.
* Adhere to GMP standards and maintain a quality-oriented mindset.
Essential Criteria:
* GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
* Strong interest in a career in engineering.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn and strong problem-solving skills.
Additional Details:
This role is based in a site that produces and handles penicillin; therefore, candidates with a penicillin allergy are not suitable. Applicants must provide proof of right to work in the UK at the time of application. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
