Residence Operations Manager \n\n*Higher Education campus*\n\n*Central London based*\n\n*£36-40k per annum*\n\nAre you an experienced manager coming from an operations / accommodation / reception / Higher education background?\n\nAn exciting opportunity is available to work for a prestigious London University based in their Residence operations team.\n\nThe role:\n\nAs the key front-line off icer for the residence, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the\nday-to-day running of reception services including the line management of staff.\nThe Operations Manager will work within a team and deputise for other Operations Managers in the division when needed.\nThe Operations team consists of the front of house teams in each of the halls, the\nResidential Services Office and the Residences Systems Team. \n\nKey Duties of the role:\n\nTo ensure that a warm and welcoming environment is created with an emphasis on excellent customer service.\nTo ensure that the property management system ref lects accurately the correct dates and charges for guest and student reservations, taking into account any amendments that might arise during the stay.\nTo be the Key User for the hall, in respect of sof tware systems including the property management system, parcel management, finance, and estates maintenance systems.\nTo collaborate closely with the third-party facilities management team to ensure that\nhousekeeping, maintenance and security services are delivered to an excellent standard in the hall.\nTo support the Accommodation office to maximise sales in the hall. To assist with roomviewings and ensure that rooms are maintained to the correct standard to ensure prompt resale.
\n\nKey Skills and experience:\n\nProven experience of managing a team in a customer facing environment\nExperience of delivering excellent customer service in the hospitality sector\nKnowledge of student accommodation in the Higher Education sector would be benfioficial\nExperience of using a Property Management System \n\nEden Brown is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer
