Supplying high-quality components to industries including automotive, aerospace, rail, and nuclear, the business is known for delivering precision-engineered parts to the highest standards. CNC Turner Responsibilities Set and operate CNC turning machines for the manufacture of precision components Work with Fanuc or Mazatrol controls (training provided on alternative control systems) Machine components from mild and stainless steel, working to tight tolerances Carry out first-off and in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are achieved Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, verniers, and gauges Read and interpret complex engineering drawings confidently Maintain accurate production records in line with company processes Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and lean working practices CNC Turner Essentials: Proven experience as a CNC Turner Setter/Operator Experience with Fanuc or Mazatrol controls (other systems considered, training provided) Skilled in working with mild and stainless steel materials Proficient in using micrometers, verniers, and gauges for inspection Ability to work to tight tolerances and meet strict quality standards Able to interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team Flexible to work on days, afternoons, or nights (depending on preference) For more information on the CNC Turner position or any other technical engineering role, please contact Stirling Warrington.
