VACANCY: Homeless Oxfordshire – Housing & Resettlement Worker, Project 41

Role summary: In this role we will expect you to lead on the case management of clients with complex needs and work in partnership with other agencies to create holistic, caring and personalised support plans for clients. This includes identifying and pro-actively working with our clients towards moving into overcoming barriers, independent living and sustaining a tenancy. Our clients have a range of support needs that impact their experience of homelessness. This includes mental health problems, social isolation, challenging behaviour, finance and debt, alcohol and drug abuse and you will be working with them to achieve outcomes that include move on. You will contribute to the delivery of a housing management service including collecting income and assist clients with tenancy-related matters. You will also help them to identify opportunities for their development such as moving into employment and work with them to remove barriers to accessing these opportunities. You will be an advocate for clients ensuring their voices are heard and make them aware of available support to them including maximising these. It is important to let you know that at times this role is tough, but most of the time it is very rewarding when you see the difference you make in the lives of others.
