Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and versatile Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing development team. This role involves building and maintaining our entire technology stack, from frontend web applications to backend microservices and integrate with third-party APIs and services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about modern technologies and capable of delivering high-quality solutions across multiple platforms within our fast-paced 4-week release cycles.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Angular framework
* Design and implement backend microservices using Kotlin Spring Boot v3
* Build and optimise SQL database schemas and queries for high-performance applications
* Collaborate with the team to architect scalable and maintainable software solutions
* Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards
* Work within agile development processes and 4-week release cycles
* Debug and resolve issues across the full technology stack
* Integrate with third-party APIs and services
* Optimise application performance and user experience
* Contribute to technical documentation and development best practices
* Support production systems and participate in on-call rotations as needed
Required Skills and Experience
* proficiency in SPA frontend development (Angular preferred)
* Extensive experience with Kotlin and Spring Boot v3 for backend development
* Solid understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns
* Proficiency with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
* Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
* Knowledge of testing frameworks and practices
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
* Experience with agile development methodologies
Preferred (But Not Required)
* Experience with AWS cloud platform
* Knowledge of containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
* Understanding of security best practices for web and mobile applications
* Experience with 2FA integration in applications and web platforms (such as Keycloak)
* Experience with monitoring and logging tools
