Robert Half is partnering with an small-sized accountancy practice based in East London. They are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join their growning team and deliver excellent support to their clients that range within the SME space and various industries including retail, hospitality, construction and more!
The ideal candidate will:
* Maintain accurate financial records, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
* Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
* Perform bank and account reconciliations on a regular basis
* Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements
* Oversee payroll processing
* Produce monthly financial reports
* Liaise with external accountants and auditors as required
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies
* Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems
*proficient experience with Xero is required*
What they will offer:
1. Salary: £40,000 - £35,000
2. 5 days on site: family-like/collaborative culture!
3. 20 days annual leave + bank holidays
4. Hours: 9:30-5:30pm
