🕒 Hours: 37.5 per week (5 out of 7 days)
Shift Patterns: 06:00-14:00 | 07:00-15:00 | 09:30-17:30 | 10:30-18:30
About the Role
We're looking for a skilled and dedicated Chef to join our catering team, delivering high-quality meals for staff, visitors, and service users. This is a hands-on role where you'll prepare fresh dishes, support menu development, and uphold the highest food safety standards.
What You'll Do
* Prepare and cook meals using fresh ingredients
* Present dishes to a high standard with accurate portion control
* Support function catering and meet special dietary requirements
* Maintain hygiene standards, record food temperatures, and comply with food safety legislation
* Assist with menu planning and stock rotation
What We're Looking For
* City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 (or equivalent)
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Intermediate desirable)
* Experience in large-scale food production
* Knowledge of HACCP, COSHH, and food hygiene regulations
* Strong teamwork, organisation, and communication skills
* Flexible, professional, and calm under pressure
