Overview

Your Role
* Lead the development of our HV Cable capability, building and mentoring a specialist team.
* Actively contribute to business development activities, identifying opportunities and engaging with clients.
* Prepare bids and proposals, including technical input, resource planning and cost estimation.
* Lead onshore and offshore HV Cable FEED and detailed design works for major transmission scale projects.
* Coordinate with other disciplines, sub‑contractors and suppliers.
* Attend site visits, FAT/SAT and commissioning activities.
* Represent AtkinsRéalis in industry forums such as CIGRE and IEEE.
* Support internal capability development and mentor junior engineers.
About You
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
* Experience in HV cable system design, manufacture, testing and installation.
* Familiarity with client specifications (e.g., National Grid, SPEN, SSEN).
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Business development mindset and client‑facing experience.
* Willingness to travel as required.
* Commissioning experience on transmission / EHV scale projects.
