The Role
* Position: Year 1 Class Teacher
* Location: Beeston, Nottingham
* Start Date: January 2026
* Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered
* TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership (for the right candidate)
In this role, you will:
* Lead a Year 1 class with creativity, care and clarity
* Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that build strong foundations in learning
* Support children’s social, emotional and academic development
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share planning and best practice
* Build strong relationships with pupils, families and the wider school community
* (If applicable) Lead a subject or key area as part of the wider school improvement plan
What We’re Looking For
* A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with KS1 experience, ideally in Year 1
* A reflective and enthusiastic practitioner with a commitment to child-centred learning
* A warm, positive team player who contributes to a supportive school culture
* Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
* A teacher who is open to, or ready for, leadership responsibilities (if interested in a TLR)
